Chromogenic E. coli X-Gluc agar (CHECXG)

For selective isolation, identification, and determination of the number of Escherichia coli in a water sample using the membrane filtration method. Furthermore, this medium can be used for the detection of E. coli in food samples by pouring the sample onto agar or by ordinary surface cultivation.
